Design Team Call

Are you passionate about scrapping? Do you love using sketches? We'd love to have you on our team!

Inspired Blueprints is an awesome sketch inspiration blog and we're looking to add to our team of talented designers. The period of commitment is from July through December 2009.

We are looking to add 3 layout designers (12x12 LOs), 1 layout designer (8.5x11 LOs), 2 card designers and 1 digital scraper.

The Responsibilities
- Create one layout every 2 weeks based on the sketch provided. For card designers, you are required to submit 2 cards for every sketch provided. On average, we have 2 new sketches every month.
- Meet deadlines for submitting layouts.
- Participate ACTIVELY and REGULARLY in our online community (http://inspiredblueprints.ning.com) by commenting on layouts and welcoming new members.
You will also have the opportunity to provide prototype layouts for new sketches, however this is not an essential requirement.

The Perks
- The opportunity to be part of the newest, upcoming sketch blog. We do, however, ask that you are and will not apply to be on any other sketch blog during your term with Inspired Blueprints.
- There is no designer remuneration but you may get to work with sponsor products from time to time.

How to Apply
Create an new layout (12x12 or 8.5x11) or card (depending on which spot you are applying for) based on this sketch:

- Name
- Spot you're applying for (12x12 designer, 8.5x11 designer or card designer)
- Address
- Email address
- link to your Blog or Online Gallery
- list of DTs you are currently on

Send your application to inspiredblueprints@gmail.com no later than 5 June, 2009. Please put "DESIGNER CALL" as your email subject. New designers will be notified by 20 June 2009.

April winner

Thank you for playing along with us during our sketchfest last month!  The gallery had almost 400 layouts in it, just from April.  WOW!  The randomly drawn winner was Emily Zhang Xian Yu, with this layout:

Giveaway at Scrapware

Hello everyone! How has your week been going? I think the busy-ness of the holiday season is starting to settle and it's back to routines for some of us and we finally managed to get down to picking our winning and favourites for Dec. :)

Announcements...

Oooh.. we have lots to update you on in this post. I'm sure many of you have been waiting to read this.

First off, we want to announce the random draw winner for November prize package from Elle's Studio. We had sooo many beautiful layouts uploaded last month and all these entries were entered into a draw and the number picked was:

CONGRATULATIONS CHRISSY!! :) We will need your contact details so please email us. Once again we want to thank Elle's Studio for the wonderful prize package. :)

We are constantly amazed at the beautiful creations in our gallery every month. We hope our sketches have been providing you with lots of inspiration. :) Here are some layouts that caught our eye for November:

We would also like to take a moment to say 'thank you' and 'goodbye' to one of our founding members and inspirational designers - AnnaMarie Mondro. AnnaMarie has decided to step down from the team.  Our heartfelt thanks go out to her for her wonderful inspiration and contributions to Inspired Blueprints. We wish her all the best for the future and hope to see her around the IB family! :)

Lastly, it's the news everyone's dying to know... who made it to our design team. We received an overwhelming response to our Designers Call held over the last 2 weeks and we cannot say enough, how humbled we are that so many of you want to be part of what we do. We really wish we could take everyone in ... believe us. There was so much talent and that made our decision really difficult. But after much consideration, we are happy to welcome the following 8 new designers to Inspired Blueprints:

Designers Call Update

We've received several emails regarding our call and thought it'd be good to post it here that.. YES, we are accepting digital and hybrid scrappers as well. So please feel free to send in your submissions if you are interested in becoming an Inspired Blueprints designer.

Thank you for all the submissions so far and if you are going to submit for the call, you have till 30 November to do so. :)

We CANNOT wait to announce our new designers and our new sketch on 1 December. Watch for it! :)

- Participate in our online community (http://inspiredblueprints.ning.com). While we do not have a full-blown forum, our designers are expected to leave praise for layouts uploaded by members.
You will also have the opportunity to provide prototype layouts for new sketches, however this is not an essential requirement.

The Perks
- The opportunity to be part of the newest, upcoming sketch blog.
- There is no designer remuneration but you may get to work with sponsor products from time to time.

How to Apply:
Simply choose from any of our sketches and give us your take on it. Be creative, we really want to see what you can do!

- list of DTs you are currently on (this will not affect our decision, don't worry! :) )
